Librarian/Supplies Coordinator

Duties to be performed by the Trusted Servant responsible for managing supplies for the Sunday meeting:

  • Attend weekly meetings of The Firing Line.
  • Manage meeting materials by maintaining an adequate number of each item as indicated in the tables below.
  • Maintain an inventory of meeting supplies and keep records of items purchased (preferably in a Microsoft Excel file).
  • Travel to necessary business locations to purchase meeting materials.
  • Attend The Firing Line business meetings.

It is the responsibility of the Librarian/Supplies Coordinator to assure The Firing Line has ample supplies for the meeting. An inventory of the necessary items, and a recommended quantity for each item, is located in the tables at the bottom of the page.

Meeting Inventory Items include:
  1. Coffee supplies
  2. AA Literature
Purchasing Meeting Supplies
  • Using your own funds.
    • Purchase the necessary items.
    • Obtain and save all original receipts.
    • Give the original receipts to the Treasurer for reimbursement.
  • If you are unable to purchase the supplies with your own funds:
    • Estimate the amount of money required to purchase needed items.
    • Request that amount of money from the Treasurer.
    • Purchase the necessary items.
    • Obtain and save all original receipts.
    • Turn the original receipts and change over to the Treasurer.
